Utah vs Chicago: Short-handed Bulls Rally for the Win

Big win last night for the short-handed Chicago Bulls. The Bulls played at home against The Jazz without some of their key players, Taj Gibson, Kirk Hinrich, Richard Hamilton and of course Derrick Rose. Derrick Rose has been cleared to play by doctors, but still isn't feeling 100%. The Bulls managed to get the win, 89-88. Marco Belinelli hit the winning 3-pointer with 5.9 seconds left , thanks to smart pass by Jimmy Bulter. Marco Belinelli had 22 points and Carlos Boozer also had 22 points plus 10 rebounds. Nate Robinson finished with 14 points and Joakim Noah only had 9 points but 13 rebounds. As for Utah this is the last thing they needed. They were down 9 at the half but with Al Jefferson and Marvin Williams combined 19 points in the 3rd quarter, got the team back in the game. Then Utah went on a 10-0 run giving Utah the lead midway through the 4th. Al Jefferson had 23 points and Marvin Williams, 14 points. Late hustle wasn't enough as they lose their 3rd game on the road. They have left the door wide open for the Lakers who are right behind them.

The Jazz continue on the road to New York to play against the Knicks..who may still be without Carmelo Anthony. They can't afford to lose this game.

For the Bulls, they fly to LA to face Kobe Bryant and the Lakers who refuse to stop grinding for a spot in the playoffs.
