GQ Magazine: The Original NBA Fashion Icon, Walt"Clyde" Frazier




Before Russell Westbrook started making headlines with his eccentric style, their was Walt "Clyde" Frazier. Walt "Clyde" Frazier is considered to be the NBA's original fashion icon, and his style has been unique since his days as a New York Knick. His flashy suits, accompanied by his wide brimmed fedoras, deemed him worthy of the nickname "Clyde". Even as commentator for Madison Square Garden , his style continues to resonate. GQ Magazine sat down with the Knicks legend to discuss NBA fashion and how he got his start. During the interview, he talks about his fashion sense and how it impacts his persona. He goes into detail about his famous nickname and the difference between NBA fashion then and now.
